Autumn Colors in the Smokies - Mid-September thru Early November
Chances are good that if you visit the Great Smoky Mountains in early November the vivid fall colors will be on display at lower elevations. You'll see a myriad of vibrant Autumn colors from sugar maples, red maples, scarlet oaks, hickories and sweetgum plus the vibrant reds of sourwood, black gum, sumac and dogwood as well as the golds of birch, beech, hickory and black walnut.

Trolley Ride of Lights - November 8, 2017 thru January 27, 2018
Hop aboard the Gatlinburg Trolley and enjoy unique LED lighting displays along the downtown Parkway and River Road. (Displays also found along Hwy 321.) You'll find a myriad of displays including indigenous animals (deer, foxes, etc.), dancing fountains, snowmen, a rocking horse and much more.

Festival of Trees - November 22-27, 2017
Celebrate Christmas in the Smokies at the Festival of Trees. Enjoy the holiday sights, sounds and smells as you shop in downtown Gatlinburg, Tennessee. You'll find hundreds of festive Christmas trees, a crafts area with locally made holiday decorations, live enterainment, photos with Santa and more. Entrance is by donation with proceeds going to benefit the Boys & Girls Club of the Smoky Mountains.
