Smoky Mountain SpringFest - March 19 - June 8
A popular, county-wide (Sevierville, Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge) Smoky Mountain festival, SpringFest is a 3 month celebration that marks the beginning of Spring in the Smokies. There are several events planned to enterain visitors to the area. Springfest activities include special events, craft shows, decorating competitions, live entertainment along the downtown Parkway and much more.
Gatlinburg Improv Fest - March 6-8
Improvisation groups will perform live on stage at the Sweet Fanny Adams Theatre. You'll also find exciting, informative workshops and classes. Participate or just enjoy the show. For more info visit www.gatlinburgimprovfest.net.
ClausFest Parade - March 15
The largest Santa Claus festival in the Southeast returns to downtown Gatlinburg. The public parade begins at 4 pm and features over 300 Santas, Mrs. Clauses, elves & helpers. For more information visit clausfest2014.com.
World Storytelling Day - March 22
During World Storytelling Day, visit the Sweet Fanny Adams Theatre for exciting tall tales and yarn spinning about Dragons and Monsters. Presented by the Smoky Mountain Storytellers Association the event is a fundraiser with proceeds benefiting the association's programs in communities and schools. The cost is $7 for adults or $5 for groups, students & seniors. All children must be accompanied by an adult |
