You'll see a myriad of vibrant Autumn colors from sugar maples, red maples, scarlet oaks, hickories and sweetgum plus the vibrant reds of sourwood, black gum, sumac and dogwood as well as the golds of birch, beech, hickory and black walnut.

Encompassing the entire county including Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge and Sevierville, Smoky Mountain WinterFest magically lights up the winter nights in Gatlinburg with millions of lights and stunning lighted displays. The festival is also a great time to enjoy magnificent holiday shows, Smoky Mountain Christmas at Dollywood and catch the Gatlinburg Trolley Ride of Lights.
Festival of Trees - November 26-30
Celebrate Christmas in the Smokies at the Festival of Trees. Enjoy the holiday sights, sounds and smells as you shop in downtown Gatlinburg, Tennessee. You'll find hundreds of festive Christmas trees, a gingerbread house contest, locally made holiday decorations and more. Entrance is by donation with proceeds going to benefit the Smoky Mountain Area Rescue Ministries.
