Hop aboard the Ober Gatlinburg Aerial Tramway in downtown Gatlinburg and enjoy breathtaking views of the Great Smoky Mountains. The 120 passenger tram departs regularly from the station at 1001 Parkway (Downtown Parkway and LeConte Street).

The sky tram takes you on a 2.1 mile scenic journey to the Ober Gatlinburg Ski Resort & Amusement Park on top of Mount Harrison (elevation 2,700 feet).

Since opening on August 5, 1973, the tram has conveyed million's of passengers from the Parkway to Ober Gatlinburg. A ride aboard the Ober Gatlinburg Aerial Tramway is appropriate and fun for all ages.

During the winter (normally mid-December through early March), you can enjoy exciting skiing and snowboarding at Gatlinburg's only ski resort. Ober Gatlinburg has ten exciting trails designed for everyone from beginners to experts. When nature doesn't quite get the job done, snow making equipment steps in to blanket the resort's slopes.
